“Ilfracombe - Congregational Sunday School - The annual treat to the scholars attending this school was held on Monday week. Tea was provided in the schoolroom, and about 300 scholars and friends sat down.After tea a magic lantern entertainment was provided in the church for the juveniles. At seven o'clock, the schoalrs, parents and friends assembled in the school-room, which was packed full. The rev. J. Morris presided , and a long and varied programme was gone through. ”
