“Blackheath - In aid of the rebuilding fund of the Shooters Hill-road Baptist Sunday School, Mr. W. Crush delivered a lecture on Tuesday evening. The lecture's subject was 'Abbeys and Castles of England' and was illustrated by a large number of magnificent views exhibited by limelight. Mr. Sidney Read occupied the chair, and music during the evening was renederd on the organ by Miss Sissie Spice, one of our scholars.”
