The 28th was for adult friends, for whom tea was provided, and after tea, Mr. W. T. These views were supplemented with several miscellaneous subjects, the whole being interspersed with vocal and instrumental music. On the 29th and 30th, the scholars soiree was held, when over 900 young folks were entertained to tea, followed with dissolving views depicting the beautiful Bible story - 'The Life of Joseph' together with other views of an interesting description. Mr. Rule gave the descriptive lecture each evening.”
