“Paignton - The annual festival of the school was held on Jan. 15th. The junior scholars set down to tea first, and an hour later the tea tables were surronded by the elder scholars, parents, teachers and friends. The prizes for regularity and punctuality of attendance were presented by the pastor. A lantern entertainment followed, under the joint management of Messrs. Harvey, Luckraft and H. Parnell, who, at the close were warmly complimented and thanked for the pleasure which they had afforded the audience. ”
