“Newbury. - On the evening of Boxing Day about 400 children were entertained to dinner in the Town Hall, Newbury. Dinner over and grace having been sung, the Mayor addressed the children. A magic lantern was then shown by Mr. Fred C. Hopson, the hon.treasurer, the subjects being explained by Mr. Joseph Elliott.”
