‘Country’ in Sunday School Chronicle

“Bristol. - City-Road Chapel Sunday School. - On Friday, Feb. 11th, a very interesting missionary lecture, illustrated by dissolving views, was delivered by the pastor, Rev. W. J. Mayers, to the children and teachers. The subject was 'India,' and great interest was manifested as the different slides were shown upon the sheet. The large schoolroom was well filled, and the kindness of Mr. Merrick, of Blayden, who used his splendid lanterns, and showed the views, was greatly appreciated, and contributed not a little to the success of the lecture.”
