“Gosport - The Rev. G. S. Smith, pastor of the Congregational Church, has introduced a series of week-evening entertainments for the Sunday School scholars, by a most interesting lecture on a 'Tour in North Wales.' The lecture was made most attractive through the use of dissolving views shown by the oxy-hydrogen lime light; Mr. J. W. Blake, the superintendent, presided.”
