“Senior Scholars' Entertainment, 56 Old Bailey, London . The lecture on Tuesday evening was given by Mr. Luther Hinton, the subject being, 'Sketches of Animal Life, Tame and Wild.' The lecture was illustrated by the Sunday School Union dissolving views, and was full of point and interest. In addition to information respecting the habits and nature of the several animals, the lecturer gave various anecdotes of a humorous and interesting character, and concluded by drawing attention to the skill and wisdom displayed by the Creator in all His works. A very hearty vote of thanks was given to the lecturer.”
