After tea the scholars adjourned to the upper room, which the superintendent had arranged for a scientific soiree, consisting of dissolving views, microscopic objects, photographs, picture books, electrical apparatus, chess, & c. The pastor, who is also superintendent, and some of the teachers spoke a few couraging words to the children. ”
