“Birmingham - On Dec. 26th, 250 poor children met in the school-room, Coventry-road Congregational Church, Small Heath, and were served with a substantial dinner of good old English fare, after partaking of which, Messrs. Rhichard Gough, Astbury, and Taylor addressed the children. An entertainment of a musical character was then given. Teat being subsequently served, and a magic lantern display following. ”
