CARRUTHERS, Thomas (c.1848- after 1901) – lantern operator
“Bedford - Baptist Chapel, Mill-street -On Wednesday, Nov. 7th, Mr. Alfred G. Carruthers, assisted by Mr. T. G. Carruthers, gave his illustrated lecture on 'Scotland, her Sons and her Scenery,' in the school-room of the above place of worship in aid of the Sunday School fund. Mr. F. Gamman presided, and there was a good attendance. The lecture was also delivered at Goldington on Oct. 31st; Stagsden, Nov. 6th; and Biggleswade, Nov. 8th.”
