“Crocken Hill (Kent) Sunday School - On Wednesday evening, Dec. 14th, a lecture was given on behalf of the above by Mr. W. Burnett (of Brasted); subject, 'John Ploughman's Pictures,' which was illustrated by a series of striking views shown by a magic lantern. The chair was very able occupied by F. Langlands, Esq.The room was crowded in every part. A pleasant and profitable evening was brought to a close by a hearty vote of thanks being given to both the chairman and lecturer.”
