“Swansea - Bethesda Baptist Sunday School - The Rev. William Mayo again gave the annual entertainment to parents, scholars, and friends, in the Chapel, on March 30th, with his oxy-hydrogen lime light apparatus. More that 1,500 persons were present. Speeches were made by Mr. James Martin and the Rev. J. G. Jones, and the evening was one of thorough enjoyment.”
