“Stagsden - On Wednesday, Feb. 2nd, Mr. A. G. Carruthers, visitor of the Bedford Sunday School Union, delivered an interesting lecture with magic lantern illustrations, in the Bunyan Chapel of this village, on 'A Tour through North Wales.' Mr. J. Ashton, of Bedford, presided, and there was a large and appreciative audience.”
