BURT, Charles (fl. 1880s-1900s) – lecturer
“Sheerness - The annual soirees were held on the evenings of the 11th and 12th of Dec. A tea, followed by a lecture on 'Ireland and the Irish,' illustrated by dissolving views, formed the greater part of the programme of these gatherings. Mr. C. Burt, of the London Union, gave the lecture. The scholars were entertained on the 12th, and entered with much spirit into the amusements provided.”
