“Darlington - Social Treat. - On Thursday, the 15th January, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Knights, of South Stockton, gave their annual tea to the scholars of St. George's Presbyterian Church, to the number of 300. After tea the children were highly interested by the help of a magic lantern, kindly lent by Mr. Richard Hind and Mr. Kirk. Prizes were distributed to the scholars, and a most enjoyable evening spent.”
