S. - An entertainment was given on Tuesday, the 15th inst., at the Public Hall, under the auspices of the flourishing Band of Hope connected with the above place of worship. The entertainment consisted of a lecture on 'My Temperance Sketchbook,' given by Mr. F. Smith, secretary United Kingdom Band of Hope Union, and illustrated by a good series of dissolving views.”
