Councillor (unlesbar) Glasgow presided, and introduced a group of seventeen young ladies and gentlemen, who were attired in costumes representative of (unlesbar) parts of the Holy Land, amongst them being that of a (unlesbar) of bride, a shepard at Bethlehem, and the ordinary dress of (unlesbar) of that town; a Christian lady of Nazareth, and a school girl (unlesbar) at the same place a student's costume; Lebanon Druse and wife; (unlesbar) Arabs; Mohammedan ladies' costumes; a cost of many colours, (unlesbar). Each of these were decribed very minutely, as well as in a (unlesbar) humorous manner, and as the parties left the platform the (unlesbar) salaam made by each was greeted with a hearty round of applause. Rev. Mount Hermon, Tiberias, the Dead Sea, Bethany were amongst the views thrown upon the screen as well as a great number of Jerusalem as seem from the (unlesbar) points, together with Cavalry, and what Mr. Moncrieff is of (unlesbar) is the site fo the true Holy Sepulchre, situated some distance (unlesbar) which is presently pointed out. ”
