“In a Snowdrift - On Monday a Service of Song, entitled 'In a Snowdrift', illustrated by Lantern Views, was held in the Johnston Mission Room, Maryport. The Vicar, Rev. J. A. Richards, kindly read the story. The hymns were well rendered by the Choir, with Miss D. Bendall accompanying. Mr. Hewitt worked the lantern. All who were present spent an enjoyable evening, which was brought to a close by a vote of thanks passed to the Vicar and the Choir. The proceeds were given to help the C.A. Mission Fund. G.E.M.”
