“Tonbridge, St. Stephen's.-We have just had a good weekend. Our kind friend, Mr. Milner, gave a practical address at our Men's Meeting, on Sunday afternoon. We have also had with us Cadet Barnett, from the Training Home, whose presence we much appreciate. On Sunday night, Dec. 10, at eight, we have our first Lantern Service; we shall give a special welcome to any of our GAZETTE readers who do not regularly attend the Services of God's house on the Sabbath Day. Subject, 'The Prodigal Son-Ancient and Modern.'”
