“Northwich.- (...) We held our annual tea party on Bank Holiday, in the Timber Lane schools, when 140 sat down. Our curates, Revs. R. Crokat and H. Scott being present, and several Church ladies presiding at the tables. By the kindness of our Church friends and others who helped us to provide the tea, we shall be able to add about L8 to our funds. We held an open-air meeting after tea, and then marched to the schools, when an interesting magic lantern entertainment was given by the Revs. R. Crokat and H. Scott. The Vicar was also present and in a few appropriate words thanked all those who had helped to make it a success. For CAPT. LOTHIAN”
