“Alderbury, Salisbury.- Though but a scattered country village, we are pleased to say that the coffee suppers in the schoolroom are well attended, and enjoyed by all. The Vicar, Rev. Canon Hutchings, has from time to time given the magic lantern entertainments, illustrating 'The Pilgrim's Progress' and the like which were very interesting and impressive. Our cottage meetings have not been so well attended lately. The Gazette sales have been steadily growing, and the paper is looked for with great pleasure every week. (...)”
