“'Who is That Man With the Happy Face?': (...) At eight o'clock we started out winter's work in real earnest. We had our first Lantern Service of the season; it was well attended, over 100 being present. The subject being: 'What must I do to be lost'. Everyone listened attentively, and waited for the answer; at last it came: if we want to be lost, we must just do 'Nothing' but go on leading and indifferent life, caring not for the things pertaining to Everlasting Life. (...)”
