“'Eleven Shillings Worth of Pity': On Monday evening, after a very bounteous tea, given by Nurse Scragge to her sewing class of girls, we had a lantern service, entitled the 'Torn Bible'. We were helped by Capt. Seddon and Nurse Blizard from Weymouth. It was in aid of the C.A. Brotherhood; the audience was only fairly large, therefore the proceeds amounted to 11s 6d (...)”
