“'Reviewing No. 19': On reviewing the events of the past year, the work carried on in our parish by the C.A. is of a decidedly pleasing character. (...) Amongst the many efforts made to advance the work and to strenghthen the position of our church, the GAZETTE Brigade, the Men's Bible Class, Children's Guild Meetings, open-air services, lantern services, also the brass band and football club may be mentioned. The services are both earnest and heldpful. The Children's Guild and lantern service are immensely popular, and are greatly appreciated by old and young. (...)”
