“The Winchester III Van (Capt. Bradbury and Cadet Williams) has visited Sway Parish, and a Three-week's mission has been conducted. The Missioners wer well received from the start, and quickly won their way to the hearts of the people. Lantern Services were held in the Schools after Evensong each Sunday and in the Schools and Church on weekdays. Several addresses were given to children, and a most interesting lecture on the general work of the Church Army was also given. I have never before attended a Lantern Service in a Church, and have been much impressed by their value (...)”
