“'Service In a Brick Kiln': The last night of the visit of the Lincoln II Church Army Van to Barrow Haven (a very isolated hamlet of the Parish of Barrow on Humber), was the occasion of a somwhat unusual service. As no other suitable meeting place was availbale, the lantern sheet was hung in an empty brick kiln, and with the aid of some beautiful pictures, the gosepl story was told to over 100 people, as many as could possibly crowded in. (...)”
