“'Best of All': During Lent special services have been held in the above hall. Tuesday evenings the vicar has preached, and other special mission services have been preached, and other special mission services have been preached by the captain. Open-air services also. On Good Friday the captain gave a lantern service in the National Schools, when 200 to 300 were present. (...)”
