Scott) referred to the early departure of Nurse Evans, whose work, during three years in the parish, had been much appreciated and whose going away, was much regretted. (...) The subject of our lantern service was 'The Dying Saviour and the Gipsy Girl', also 'The Road to Cavalry' with appropriate music and singing.”
