“'Bugle Calls': (...) Wednesday last saw upwards to 120 assembled in the mission room for the Church Army tea. (...) subsequently a lantern service was held, entitled 'The Torn Bible', when the reading was given by Capt. Wilson, who, at the close earnestly requested all present to use the Bible as their great spititual guide to the way of salvation.”
