‘untitled’ in Church Army gazette

“One of the two Church Army Vans working in the diocese visited this parish recently. Open-air services were held in different parts of the village each evening, and large numbers were attracted to the lantern services. The evangelistic services held in the schoolroom were well attended and we trust the earnest addresses given by Capt. Handley and Bro. Gaskill have been the means of helping some to realise more fully the blessing of the gospel of Jesus. (...)”
