“'Till like a sea of glory, it spreads from pole to pole': The Church Army Mission (Worcester II Van) has been going on in this parish for four weeks hsa at last come to an end, and the officers with their Van have removed to other quarters. (...). The hopyards have been regularly visited and over 4000 C. A. Gazettes, tracts and other publications have been distributed among the hop-pickers. Besides this, on five nights of each week (with the exception of only one night on account of rain) lantern services have been held at various quarters of the hop-pickers, and on Sundays there have been children's services in the school room, both morning and afternoon, short services at the hop-pickers quarters, and Van Services each Sunday after the regular service. The lantern services have been especially good, the subjects sopken upon being very varied, and the illustrations showing very plainly on the sheet. (...)”
