“'Strangers in the Church': The Salisbury No II Van has been in this parish for a fortnight with the missioner, Capt. Trafford, and his assistant, Cadet Diamond. (...) On two evenings lantern services were held in the schoolroom, the large school being packed. The average attendance each evening has been (in the church) about 180 (...).”
