Reference

“'The Relief of Kimberley and Finchley': (...) On Sunday, after a prayer meeting some silent sermons were shown on the sheet, the choir singing meanwhile. At seven we began our lantern service. A lady sang 'The Children's Home' which was illustrated. Our captain took as his subject 'Strong Men'. Strong men were shown on the sheet from the Old and New Testament, also men of our own time – strong in body, string minds, and what is far better, strong in spirit.”
