“'A Gipsy Raid': The Hartfordshire C.A. Van, under Capt. Darby and his assistant, Brother Berry, has just completed a ten day's mission. The services were held in the schoolroom and were well attended every evening by an attentive and appreciative audience, the schoolmaster giving his time and assistance (...). The lantern services with their beautiful slides proved especially attractive, amd it must have been most encouraging to see so many avail themselves of the opportunity of seeing them, and following , by the aid of the slides, the closing scenes of our Saviour's Life, His resurrection and ascension. There were also three children's services given during the visit of the C.A. (...)”
