“'Thank You, Lantern': During the winter season we have had many successful events, in addition to the regular meetings, in the way of lantern lectures, services of song, entertainments, & c. (...) The Headquarters Lantern Department deserve the sincerest thanks for the supply of beautiful and instructive slides they have lent us from time to time, and we are pleased to send them a subscription for the supplementing of their already large stock of slides. This week we have had the last season of a series of monthly lantern services, and it has been most encouraging to see the large numbers of people who have gathered at the different meeting rooms where we have had them.
