“HOW WE SPENT THE LAST HOUR OF 1898 Upper Armly. - On the last day of the year' 1898, we had a magic lantern and entertainment, the lantern lecture was conducted by Capt. Dawber, and was thoroughly enjoyed. Capt. Spicer, of the Leeds Labour Home, and Mr. Cowley and others sang and recited capitally. Coffe and buns were served at the interval. Then we went on to the church to spend the last half hour of the year in prayer with our Lord. R. B., for Capt. Walker.”
