“FAIRLY BUBBLING OVER Upper Parkstone, St. John's Mission Hall. - Praise God for all His mercies, for the work under Capt. Newton has indeed grown from strength to strength at this Hall. On sunday evenings the Hall is crowded to its fullest capacity. Week-night Services are also well attended, as also Sunday-school and Band of Hope. The workers, too, are earnest, fervent in prayer, and thank God - united in the work. One of them was met the other day and got very enthusiastic over C. A. Mission work. Says the friend, 'Your fairly bubbling over; you'll soon be running over all the parish'. Lantern Services have done much good in putting before the people God's love and purposes. [...] J. N. R., for Capt. Newton.”
