“BLESSED BLARNEY Derriaghy. - A very successful Service of Song, entitled 'The Oiled Feather,' was rendered by the Church Choir in the Parochial Schoolhouse on Friday evening, in aid of the Sunday School. The service was illustrated by limelight views. The Rev. C. E. Quinn, B.A., presided, and gave the connective readings, and at the conclusion, he proposed a vote of thanks, which was passed, to all who had given their assistance. The proceedings were closed by Rev. C. E. Quinn pronouncing the Benediction. Per Capt. Oakley.”
