WOLSTENHOLME, Captain E.  (fl. 1890s-1900s) – lecturer

Reference
‘The Church's Holy War’ in Church Army gazette

“Steadtfast and immovable: We thank God for restoring Mrs. Wolstenholme to health and strength, and to be amongst us once more. On Sunday night we had a Lantern Service on the Life of St. Paul. Our Captain told us how much St. Paul gave up for Jesus, and asked us how much we had given up for Him. We felt God's spirit working in our midst. Our Meetings are being well attended, but we want to see more coming to Jesus; we believe this will be realised during the coming winter. We also thank God for the workers He has raised up in this part of His vineyard. May God keep them steadfast and immovable, looking unto Jesus, 'the Author and Finisher of our Faith.'”
