“'Warm Hearted Mothers': On Monday, Jan 4, a very enjoyable evening was spent by the members of Nurse Jennett's Mother's Meeting, when about 60 sat down to the substantial tea provided. (...) After prayer, a Service of Song, entitled 'Poor Mike' was rendered by a special choir prepared by the Organistof the Church, the Vicar (Rev. H. S. Bolton) being the reader. The subject was illustrated by Limelight Views, given by Mr. Mundlin, Prison Gate Missioner of St, Helens. (...)”
