“A divided chair: A splendid Service of Song was given in the Farrer Street Mission Room on Nov. 13. Nurse Bagshaw had brought over a good choir from South Bank, and the story ('Jessica's First Prayer') was illustrated by lime-light views. The Revs. E.H.M. Ainslie and C.H. Steel divided the chair, and the Vicar came in at the close to speak a few words. The room was well filled, in spite of rival attractions, through the energy of Capt. Paskin and his helpers.”
