“Songs of praise: […] On the following Monday we held our first Church Army Tea, when about 150 sat down. After tea there was a Service of Song, with limelight views shown by Mr. Pritchett, of Bristol, the connective readings by Capt. King (Holy Trinity, Bristol), also dialogues, recitations, and singing with musical instruments. A very enjoyable night was spent, ending with the Doxology and the Benediction. To God be all the glory, the praise and thanksgiving. ”
