“Making a mark: The first of a series of Lantern Services was held in the Mission Hall on Friday last, and was attended by sixty persons. The subject was, 'John Tregenoweth, His Mark.' The lantern was shown by Capt. Paddon, and the readings give by Mr. Rogers. It is devoutly hoped that these Lantern Services may draw careless ones into a state of earnestness for their soul's welfare.”
