“Clean outside and in: We are very thankful to Almighty God, that the work of the Church Army is prospering very much in this parish. We have been having some special times here. On Tuesday evening, Sept. 11th, our Captain gave a Magic Lantern Service to the children at 6.15p.m., entitled 'How Cissie saved her father.' This same service was repeated for the seniors at 7.30p.m., together with 'The Prodigal Son,' showing the love of God in welcoming poor sinners home. we had very good attendance at both the meetings, and also at Riding-Gate on Wednesday, Sept. 12th. [...]”
