BARROW, Captain (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
“Welcome to new friends: On April 3rd, the reception tea to Capt. And Mrs. Barrow took place, to which about 150 sat down. […] On the following day a large number of our Band of Hope and Sunday School children were entertained to tea, after which 'Scenes from the Life of Friendless Bob' were thrown on the sheet, Mr. Hunt kindly lending the lantern, and the Captain undertaking the reading.”
