“The magic lantern introduces us to new friends: On Tuesday night at the National Schools, by the kind permission of the Vicar of the parish, who had a visit from Capt. Grummett, who gave us a very interesting lecture on the Church Army work with the aid of his magic lantern. The C. A. is not at work in this village, but to those who assembled to hear the lecture it was very interesting to know that such a society exists. ”
