“TRAVEL TALK. -- An interesting travel talk entitled 'From Baghdad to Palestine,' was given at the Women's Institute Hall on Friday evening by Major G.H. Parker. The Rector (the Rev. J.W. Dunbar) presided and there were about 70 people present. The lecture was illustrated by about 90 lantern slides, many of them beautifully coloured, and the lecturer revealed a host of interesting facts. A collection, amounting to £3 5s., was taken in aid of the fund for the heating installation in the Parish Church.
