“Mr A.O. Rowden – Account of visit to the great Starling Roost on Gittisham Common on March 8th, organised by him for members of the Club and friends. The roost was a plantation of tall laurels at the intersection of four roads, and lantern slides from photographs taken by Mr Rowden on this and other visits to the spot showed flocks of birds arriving, alighting on the tall trees of the plantation and then dropping into the laurels.”

Notes

This appears to be a contribution to a longer meeting programme rather than a commplete lecture in itself.
