“Entertainment at Course Lodge, Richhill. In this private house for the insane a varied and most enjoyable magic-lantern entertainment was given on the 26th ult., by Mr. James Orr for the benefit and amusement of his lady patients. The principal subjects included: - 'Ireland, North and West,' 'Belfast,' 'The Roll Call,' 'Mother's Last Words,' 'Road to Heaven,' 'The Absent Man,' 'Statuary,' 'Chromotrophes.' On the invitation of Miss Orr, a few lady friends, together with Revs. C. R. Williams and M. F. Bovenizer, were present, and added much to the enjoyment of the evening. The Rev. Mr. Bovenizer very kindly gave he connective readings, while Mr. Orr manipulated the lantern. THe beautiful slides gave in every respect the greatest satisfaction to the delighted company.
